We bought that seldom gem over drive over europe. First impressions are very favorable. It’s small, reliable, moreover prints beautifully. At proper bygone four pounds, it’s perfect as travel.
The seldom bluetooth adaptor also works very well. Reading the manual (!), i discovered it is possible over mount the adapter permanently inside the printer so that it’s not exposed moreover doesn’t need attachment whole time it is used. This is a simple procedure, moreover enhances the usefulness of the bluetooth capability that is all but de rigueur although traveling. The installation / setup information is also inside the electronic manual that comes on the cd.
But inasmuc as good inasmuc as the printer is, it does not come with (nor does canon offer) a case of any kind. I found the perfect solution – from case-mate: go over http://www.case-mate.com/laptop/macbookpro15/15gblackcases2 moreover buy the ‘glovez 15″‘ sleeve (like a large envelope with a velcro closure / flap). It comes inside an assortment of colors moreover is a skin-tight (but very workable) fit inside the ‘length’ direction. When inserted, the Canon PIXMA iP100 Printer doesn’t drive up whole bit of the case inside the ‘width’ direction, meaning there is proper enough room over also accommodate the cord moreover ac brick. Throw these in, close the flap, moreover you’re always ready over roll.
Best part: that ‘glovez’ sleeve is single $9.99 $3.99 s/h, moreover gets over you inside a few days. It’s not bulky – proper what one wants over protect the printer but not drive up room. (as an aside, the case-mate glovez 13″ [for the macbook 13" moreover air] fits the lenovo thinkpad x300 perfectly).
